American Fire Sprinkler AssociationThe American Fire Sprinkler Association, (AFSA) is a non-profit, international association representing open shop fire sprinkler contractors, dedicated to the educational advancement of its members and promotion of the use of automatic fire sprinkler systems. AFSA acts as a liaison with other national associations involved in fire safety. Working together with government agencies, such as the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the National Fire Protection Association, the Residential Fire Safety Institute, and the Home Fire Sprinkler Coalition, AFSA helps to create an awareness on the dangers of fire.

CAL SAFEThe California Association of Life Safety And Fire Equipment (CAL SAFE) is a non-profit organization created to maintain the highest standards Fire Life Safety equipment for the fire protection industry. CAL SAFE serves to establish an effective liaison with the State Fire Marshal's Office and other state and local agencies and legislative groups. Their primary function is to insure the uniform interpretation of and conformity by members of the association with the provisions of Title 19 of the California Administrative Code and other applicable laws and regulations.

National Association of Fire Equipment DistributorsThe National Association of Fire Equipment Distributors (NAFED) was established in 1963 with the mission of continuously improving the economic environment, business performance, and technical competence in the fire protection industry. NAFED members are dedicated to raising the standards of the fire equipment industry through cooperative efforts with other distributors and manufacturers in the areas of education, legislation, and professional service for the benefit of the general public in all aspects of fire prevention and protection. This is reflected in NAFED's code of ethics, to which all members subscribe.
